Acid mine drainage water is planned to be treated in various facilities in and around Gauteng. TCTA developed and designed the water treatment plants and Design Node added value by placing the buildings and designing the gateway elements for these water treatment facilities. 

​

The goal of this industrial design was to give architectural value and aesthetic appeal to highly functional facilities and buildings.

By repeating certain materials such as face brick, concrete and corrugated sheeting Design Node created an architectural language that unified the various buildings.
